Form Check-In to Check-Out was smooth and very satisfactory. My room was very clean and the entire facility reflected that cleanlines. Moreover, the staff made you feel welcomed and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

I just checked into Sonesta Irvine for the weekend, and I have to say, the service has been incredible from the moment I arrived. Vanessa at the front desk greeted me as soon as I walked in with a warm smile and outstanding customer service. She made sure everything was in order and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome right away.

David from valet was also amazing. He was friendly, efficient, and handled my car with care. Both Vanessa and David made my first night here so comfortable, and I’m really looking forward to the rest of my stay. If this is just the beginning, I know it’s going to be a great weekend!

We are locals in Irvine and needed a hotel because of a maintenance issue in our rental. The supervisor Angel checked us in, gave us two great rooms, and even helped us find the best rate. He and all of the staff were kind, considerate, friendly, flexible, and responsive during the whole stay. The rooms are clean, remodeled, and have hard flooring (no carpeting). The TV cast system (for streaming your own content) worked well, the WiFi is strong, and there are plenty of outlets and USB ports in the room. The pool and jacuzzi are indoors, there is a small convenience store, and there is a casual bar in the lobby. Although we didn't need it, the airport is very close (but no plane noise). We will definitely recommend this hotel to any guests in the future!

They get you with the “good pricing”, at least the other hotels in the area are open with what you’ll be charged. They forget to include the extra $40/day you'll be paying for parking if you stay on their property. They give you a parking pass and don't mention the payment so you're lead to believe parking is included, and that payment is for those just using the parking not staying in the hotel, until you get your final receipt, which i think is a little shady. The rooms were fine, nothing spectacular. My husband and I were laughing because the rooms compared to how they portray the entrance and the restaurant were so different, they portray themselves as a high end hotel, but its pretty basic. It gets the job done, and could be convenient if you were coming to town for business. It was clean, no bed bugs, and a pretty convenient area. I would give a critique to chamge the shower heads in the rooms, the showers look nice and then you turn on the water and realize its just an average hotel shower that barely works and sprays everywhere but your body. ? The staff was also very friendly, I think they're just trained to be shady about their pricing.

Crystal Coats

Jessica at the front desk gave us the BEST customer service EVER!! The king bed was huge and so comfortable. The pool was enormous and crystal clear. We even felt comfortable using the hot tub. You have to visit the hotel restaurant.
The lemongrass and ginger chicken is to die for. I highly recommend their bloody marys and Mimosas. Adela is such an amazing server and Dave the manager even came out to say hello to us. Over all our stay was the best we've ever had in a hotel. Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary so special. We will send everyone we know and will be back for sure!

A Town

I havent been here since it was a Wyndham hotel. The service was subpar back then, so I never came back. I noticed it changed to Sonesta a while back, so today I decided to give them a shot. In the beginning we were greeted by a friendly valet by the name of Andrew J, he helped me with my bags and he noticed that I had a knee problem and quickly helped me so I wouldnt reinjure myself. Its the little things that make the most impact sometimes. The front desk ladies were also very friendly, the room was prepared with care, and I would say the whole experience was defintely better than my last, and I will definitely be coming back!

Stayed during Xmas 2024 while visiting So Cal. Great hotel. Very nice, full service, very clean and well maintained. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone has a big smile on their face.

Our flight was delayed until the next day after many hours at the air port so they compt us a room at this fine hotel. Arriving David helped us immediately with our luggage and after checking in he noticed our sleeping baby and was very thoughtful with handling our luggage and closed the door very gently without us asking him too. Very attentive and we appreciate that specially with all of us being so tired. As many of you know putting a baby back to sleep when your sleep deprived is not something enjoyable, so thank you David for the attentiveness.
