It should be 0 stars. We have cancer causing water and are forced to pay a MINIMUM of $100 a month. For water we cannot drink. They hate their own people here. Very uncomfortable.

Extremely rude employee's that are not afraid to yell and hang up on the public that they are employed to serve!

So you have officers go to a house for a noise complaint, arrest somebody and don't don't charge them with anything having to do with a noise complaint. I'm glad Colorado got rid of qualified immunity. Half these cops are barely qualified

You're department exists to serve the community and keep the peace, not rip someone out of their doorway for no articulated reason and flex the power you don't deserve. A bunch of cowards is what it looks like. A pathetic group of men and women. If you want to live in a police state you should leave America for Russia.

Amended review: Sterling Police Department has a great man in charge - Chief Tyson Kerr. I have known him for about 35 years and I have faith that he is a good man and the best to be in charge here. There are a handful of commendable officers that staff this PD - and the good ones are very good and love their community and I feel safer when they are patrolling the streets. But there are a few of them (unknown to the chief and the better ones, I think) that are very bad and discriminate, profile (negatively) and use their position in abhorrent manners to achieve their personal adgenda's.

The water and trash department is always having problems. They can't explain the mysterious charges that end up on your account. As if it wasn't bad enough that they jacked up everyone's bills about $25 to pay to fix the defunct water treatment plant now water bills are getting out of hand. Even after moving over 100 miles away the city water department is still causing problems for me. Keep a close eye on your receipts because if you don't they will make you double pay.

Seriously one of the most helpful experiences I've ever had with the police. Sgt. Rank gave us fantastic advice where to buy a good replacement car, and later helped us getting assistance getting our dead one gone. Seriously, thank you.
