I commissioned a private baking lesson with Chef Strand for my granddaughter's birthday and couldn't have been more pleased. My granddaughter thought Chef Strand was nice, and she appreciated that his instructions were simple, and that he stepped back and let her try it on her own. Chef Strand also included a printout of the recipes for my granddaughter to take home. And she said the entry sign was "so cool," because it listed her name and the class she was taking. Nice touch!

This place is amazing, we went for breakfast and had steak and eggs, hash browns and fried mushrooms, the steak was the most flavorful and tenderest steak we have ever ate. Everything was prepared to perfection, instead of being overwhelmed with grease as most places, we could taste every item on our plate. Very clean and well maintained establishment
The hospitality was amazing. A place where you can feel welcome, comfortable and enjoy your visit.

This place was great. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food was outstanding comfort food. I had the Rustlin Pie. It had an awesome flavor. My wife kept stealing bites....the Chicken Fried Steak was great as well. I would still bites of her dinner too. Can't wait to go back and try the steaks and prime rib.

My husband and I were traveling through and stopped here for lunch. Very nice restaurant pleasant atmosphere and very good food! We both got the small portion of country fried steak and it was the best! Definitely would eat there again if we get the chance!

A+++ all the way!!!!! We are truckers and don't eat out too often , We would eat here again for sure!!!! The server was so awesome ( Deb) The owner was so nice and accommodating made everything perfect! We had breakfast chicken fried steak and eggs and sirloin steak and eggs cooked to perfection, owner even sent out a piece of prime rib for us to try also was perfection! Thank you ladies👋

Very traditional restaurant for what you will find in the mid-west. There menu is large and everyone can find at least something to eat. With such a large menu of choices comes lack of specializing in anything. Simple is not what you will find here. Never a wait and the service is always great. The personal and friend atmosphere is one to take note of. The owners are top and why I have to give this place 3 stars. They have really mastered hospitality and one of the only reasons I would return. They do oddly offer a buffet on top of everything they list on their menu however the prices you pay are unreal and one they really should rethink. Seems to be a town local favorite. The decor is a "Hoot" and always fun to enjoy while waiting for your very over priced meal.

My mother-in-law booked this place for our wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was wonderful! Even in the mist of a pandemic they were so kind and allowed us to be in a room just our wedding group. The staff was sweet! 10/10 recommend for big groups
