Our stay at the Farnam was so wonderful I felt compelled to write this review. My workplace treated us to a night at this hotel and dinner at the attached restaurant, dynamite grill. As soon as we pulled up, we were warmly welcomed by the valet staff then happily greeted by 2 exemplary employees at the front desk. They were so kind and did a great job making us feel like VIPs. We were offered a complimentary welcome drink of either champagne or baileys - very nice! The room is beautifully decorated and well appointed with amenities including bath robes and ready to drink cocktails (for purchase) as well as 2 small bottles of wine (also additional charge) but so nice to have the option! Dinner at dynamite was so good! I usually don't have high expectations for a hotel restaurant but this one blew me away. Our server, Chris, was top notch! The next morning we ordered room service which was also delicious. The pancakes are huge! We grabbed coffee from the cafe near the lobby and (very sadly) checked out. Thank you Farnam staff - you truly take a lovely hotel and make it a GREAT one. Can't wait to return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Farnam Hotel in Omaha, and I have to say the experience was exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding customer service I received. Samuel Ashford, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests truly made a difference.

Additionally, the valet staff was equally impressive. They were friendly, efficient, and made parking and retrieving our vehicle a breeze. It’s rare to experience such top-notch service across the board, but The Farnam Hotel clearly excels in customer care.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Omaha, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Dec 2024: This place is just unreal. We now have a Christmas time tradition established to enjoy some holiday festivities, dinner and cocktails downtown with The Farnam as our accommodation. Purely by coincidence, Derek set the tone again at arrival and made sure our car was parked safely, assisted with our luggage and showed us to our room. David at the lobby bar crafted delicious cocktails for us. Davonche's hospitality and recommendations for breakfast at Dynamite were... just that. We just left this morning and we already can't wait to come back next year. If you stay anywhere else in downtown Omaha, you're doing it wrong.||Nov 2023: First impression created by Derek and the other valet staff was outstanding and really set the tone for our one night stay here. Expedited check in process combined with quite possibly the best room in the building. Top floor room overlooking the holiday lights, our primary purpose for this visit to downtown. We did not utilize the property's restaurant, bar or fitness facilities so can not specifically comment on those but the accommodations were top notch and all of our interactions with staff were professional and indicative of a high level of customer service. Will stay here again in the future without a doubt. Thank you.

The Farnham is just amazing! The hotel is new and so nice. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and so clean. Sam at the front desk made us feel so welcome and made sure that we had everything we need. He did an amazing job taking care of us and making us feel special. This place will make your stay in Omaha better! You won't be disappointed! Thank you Farnham for a great evening and night!

This hotel was an overall great place to stay. The service was top notch. We were first greeted by the friendly and efficient valet staff and then warmly greeted by the reception staff. I’m pointing this out because it was literally that good. We travel frequently and some places don’t offer that same level of customer service. The room was sparkling clean and our request for no down pillows was met. The bar staff was wonderful to talk with and gave us suggestions for sides and appetizers to have as a small meal. Do yourself a favor and order the macaroni and cheese. It was amazing and I can’t wait to have it again.

After days of being on the road, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening, tired and admittedly a bit disgruntled. From the moment we pulled up, the exceptional team at the concierge and valet desk turned our night around. Jack, in particular, stood out for his outstanding hospitality.

He greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel completely at home—something we desperately needed after such a long journey. Jack has a true talent with people; his ability to connect and make every guest feel valued is remarkable. His thoughtful gestures and above-and-beyond care truly transformed our mood.

The level of service we received here was exceptional, and it's clear that the staff take pride in making every guest's experience special. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we can't wait to return!

I have not actually stayed in the hotel, but I did take our engagement photos here and it was a great experience! From our initial phone call to when we actually went there, everyone was so nice and helpful. We were able to reserve The Catalyst room for photos and take some photos in other spots as well. We interacted with multiple staff members and they were all so kind and accommodating and even gave us champagne, which was great to include in our photos! If I ever need to book a hotel downtown, I will definitely go here after our experience.

Having not stayed at The Farnam for almost two years, I was surprised to be recognized at both the curb and the front desk. Apparently, the hotel has such exceptional retention that it is possible to get to know them||The experience was as good as we remember. Service was superb, room was well designed and spotless and dinner at the Woodfire Grill was memorable. The only disappointment was at breakfast when wait staff was pointed out plastic debris located in an item ordered did not seem to care.||This hotel is a favorite of ours.
