I've been a business and personal client for over 10 years. Shafer Group does a consistently good job in the entire process of tax strategy, compliance and return accuracy.

There were many times where I saved more money in tax liability by taking their planning and execution advice than I paid them in fees for their services.

I've always felt like we fully complied with all the tax rules, and that all returns were correct, but that we also didn't miss anything that was helpful either immediately or in future years.

I've used Top Ten accounting firms in the past. And sometimes they have their role. But Shafer Group provides personal quality tax advice at service rates far better than bigger firms.

Nothing but top tier accounting talent at this company. After trying several others in the past, what a night and day difference it has been working with Shafer Group. They were able to recover substantial accounting misses by others which resulted in a significant check back to us. What a way to start a relationship! The Shafer Group has provided consistently excellent service over the past fifteen years to keep my tax returns tight and right. During those years, I have prevailed in the “vida loca” while navigating an unwanted divorce, single fatherhood, overseas deployments, running a rental property, retirement from a long military career, challenging training for a second career, out of state commuting, etc. Throughout all of that turbulence, the Shafer Group has been a bedrock source of stability and confidence. After years of not being fully satisfied with the results and service I was getting from my tax preparation people, I switched to The Shafer Group this year and the results were better than I could have expected. They obviously have a efficient system to allow the CPAs to develop relationships and work directly with customers. We have two businesses, multiple sources of 1099 income, and W2 income and Vidhya took the time to really dig into everything during our initial meeting. She was readily available when I had questions during the process and is completely on top of all the tax law changes that impacted us. Go here if you live in Colorado Springs or Monument!

I have use The Shafer Group for years. I work overseas, using other tax filing companies I was asked more questions other then receiving answers and when I did get answers they were mostly gibberish. When I went to The Shafer Group I was satisfied immediately that year and have been with them since, 8 years I think now.
