I had a purse that I just loved, the zipper broke, a very nice lady fixed it for me in like an hour, I believe she is one of the owners. It was a minimal charge and I have my favorite purse back. They gave lots of things to look at and purchase, highly recommend.

Any work I have done here is always professional. I have had two sets of curtains done here and they always are perfect. They also do many other things and have very nice unique gifts in the store as well. I recommend to stop in and browse.

Excellent customer service. One of the owners went out of her way to help me figure out what line/color my batik fabric was (I was trying to match). She didn't have to do that...the shop where I got it didn't enter color names in her computer. A HUGE thanks to Three Sisters Fabric! I found some because of her!!

I’m masking masks because of COVID 19 and my very old sewing machine broke. They demonstrated two machines and when I decided they taught me all about my machine. I’ve made hundreds of masks and Love my machine and Three Sisters customer service!! Everyone was very kind and patient!!

I recently visited this shop while traveling from Cedar Rapids to Des Moines for a day trip. I had been looking into purchasing a Janome machine and wanted to test drive one before investing the money. This shop was listed as the closest Janome Dealer on the Janome website and since we were going to Des Moines I decided to stop by. Before planning the trip I called to make sure they had the model I wanted available to test, and the lady on the phone was friendly and confirmed that they would be open and ready to demo the machine. The store was easy to find as Montezuma is rather small, and the front of the building was pleasing and well cared for. As we entered I noticed they place much more emphasis on the fabric and notions rather than the machines, which were in a tiny display off to one side. There were several women in the back working on alterations and organization. One lady came over and helped us pull out the machine we wanted to see, then went to find an extension cord to plug in and someone else to help us use it. Another lady, perhaps the owner, walked me through the steps to begin sewing and was very knowledgeable and cordial. I was impressed with the quality of the machine and the options it offered. I didn't feel pressed to look at their more expensive models or other wares, and was comfortable asking questions. At the end she offered to sell me the display model or a new in the box one, stated that all customers get 5 extra bobbins and a free spool of thread, and made recommendations for other feet to buy in the future. Being pleased with the service and knowing that this was the machine I wanted to buy, I made the purchase.
As a Janome Dealer I've given the place 4 stars since it was a bit disorganized and there was a bit of confusion about testing a machine. I believe the shop focuses more on alterations and fabric sales, which makes sense for a small town, but it would've been a smoother visit had the machines been set up to try, been more prominently displayed, and if the other staff knew a bit more about them. Since I wasn't there to purchase fabric I cannot review that side of the shop, although at a glance their selection looked expansive and of good quality.
Overall I would recommend this store if you have been looking into a Janome machine and just want to try one out before buying. Just make sure to call ahead as I only saw 5 or 6 machines on display, and those might be the only models they have.
