Tok Community Library - Tok, Alaska

I got into Tok a bit earlier than expected and needed something to do before checking into the cabin, so I stopped by the library. It happened to be a Monday, on which day the library is closed, but as we pulled up, a wind gust blew the sign to “open.” We walked to the door, and just as I noticed the “closed on Monday” sign, a lady opened the door and welcomed us inside for a bit. We had a wonderful chat; I learned so much about dogsledding and even found some books to buy for the rest of my trip down the highway 🙂 The library has free wifi and a great selection of books, especially Alaskan history.

Tem uma internet muito boa e aberta para os viajantes 24h. Não é permitido passar a noite no local, mas ficamos até as 22h e após fomos dormir do outro lado da rua em um posto Chevron.

Não tem banheiro, não tem água, e não são exatamente todos os dias que ela vai estar aberta nos horários mencionados, pois se trata de uma biblioteca comunitária e as pessoas que trabalham não recebem salários. ajudou muito a baixar mapas e coisas do tipo.
