"As the President of a State-wide Professional Organization (NYS Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners-NYSACCME) and as a Small Business Owner (Pets in Peaceful Rest,) I have on occasion, had the need for a public relations/marketing/advertising. With zero experience in knowing what I needed to get the message out about our mission for the organization and with little to no experience on how and what to advertise to increase visibility in the communities I serve with my business, I began looking for some help to increase my public visibility for both entities. I watch a lot of Buffalo Sabres Hockey games on MSG Network and kept seeing this ad for Trellis Marketing. It wasn’t a flashy ad with a ton of graphics, or a commercial with loud music and flashing text but rather, an elegant confident woman standing against a plain background, expounding the virtues of proper advertising, no-nonsense marketing and people who are creative and care about their final product.

She sold the services her company provided, she was confident that she could handle any job presented to her and most importantly, with confidence, professionalism and impressive style…she sold herself. Without meeting her, she made me want to learn more about how she could grow my business, and how she could get our message out to the masses for our organization state-wide. Catharine came to one of our Board meetings to listen to what we wanted her team to create for us regarding an Opioid Abuse Prevention Campaign. She drove two hours for a 20-30 minute presentation to our group to give the pitch herself. As a business owner, she came herself…to pitch her team’s product and to help persuade us to go with her company. After her presentation, there was no doubt that NYSACCME was going to use Trellis Marketing to propel our idea for Opioid Abuse Prevention forward in print, television, radio and social media. The final product was incomparable to anything that was out there as it delivered a most powerful, in-your-face message which showed the reality of opioid abuse….’Get clean or die.’ This campaign is still in use today some 2-3 years later and has been acclaimed by many groups on its message and the creativity it used in bringing that message to the forefront in everyday life. It was a masterpiece of advertising genius and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the final product and the constant communication with Trellis Marketing through the whole production process.

It was because of the stellar work Trellis had done with NYSACCME, that when it came time for me to have a new website for Pets in Peaceful Rest, there was no doubt who was going to create it. My previous website was part of a package from a parent company who included it with a case management program and some other franchise requisite programs and accounting software. It was basically a secondary website attached and associated with the parent company’s main site. I reached out to Catharine and asked her to put together a package which would grab people with updated photos of animals and videos integrated with comments and testimonials from pet families which we had previously served. I had no less than 4-5 people working on creating my site. The result, a state of the art piece of ART which draws you right to the images of animals, our message and our service but more importantly…allows people to easily understand our reasoning for what we do and how we do it. In my humble opinion, Trellis Marketing IS the best company to get your needs met for PR, advertising or marketing of any kind. They went above and beyond what I expected and it all started from me seeing an ad with the owner of the company blowing her own horn and believing in herself and her team. After all, if you don’t believe in what you do and how well you do it…who else will?"
