My team and I have just finished playing in the Roaring Fork Valley World Series in Colorado. This was a terrible experience for most parents and our players. The fields and area of Colorado were beautiful, and the hotel staff was exceptional. The bad experience came from the Triple Crown Sports staff and the outside staff that Triple Crown Sports hired. It started a couple of weeks before the tournament started. Our head coach had received a phone call from the tournament director asking for some information. The head coach had passed the phone to the team mom because it was about hotel reservations. The team had to do hotel reservations through a certain app because this was a stay to play event. All reservations for the team were emailed to the tournament director through the app we were required to use. This was mandatory by the director and Triple Crown Sports. The director proceeded to tell the team mom that he needed everyone on our teams info of where they were staying. When the team mom told him that she was in contact with the people from the app where we made our reservations and they sent him emails with all that information. He told her that was not the info he wanted and asked if she was listening. He was extremely rude and condescending. He then said if she didn’t want to send the info to him herself, he would just scratch the team from the tournament. Of course this was something we did not want as everyone had paid already for their stay and could not get a full refund if we were scratched. Fast forward to the week of the tournament. Three days in to the tournament our players were swimming and playing Wiffle ball to enjoy the time here. There was a security guard that was going around taking pictures of our kids swimming and following them around. There was even an incident where the security guard was trying to block the kids from crossing the street with her vehicle. She kept backing up and moving forward almost hitting a 11 year girl with her vehicle. She proceeded to tell our players that if they go up to the condos where we were staying she would call the cops. She told them that all the Texas and Oklahoma teams in the tournament were trash. She also told a couple of our minority players that “we don’t like your kind here”. She also hit a 13 year old boy in the chest leaving a bruise as she was trying to block him from walking away. When we heard this we asked the cops to be called and filed a report with them on these incidents. It was deemed that we as a team had done nothing wrong and to let the cops know if this kind of behavior continued. The next day our team found out that this security personnel was not from the place we were staying, but hired by the tournament director. That same day the director called our head coach threatening that he was going to kick us out of the tournament. When our coach tried to tell him what was going on he didn’t want to hear our side. The coach even tried giving him contact information of parents from other teams that witnessed some of the stuff. We had to email the police officer to ask him to speak on our behalf to the director, which the cop said he knew him and would let him know we did nothing wrong.

I was there for the annual Holiday Party. I'm not a full time employee but I was invited to share in this event. I was warmly received. I had a great time at the party and I'm most grateful for the invitation. Had the chance to get some "face time" with many of the staff members including David King, Keri King and many others. Thanks to all for having me there.

These guys constantly are unorganized w their baseball tourneys. Cancelling last min when the weather forecast is obvious etc... Also the umps seem to make their own rules as they go...

Umpire had me thrown out after eves dropping on a conversation with my wife. Then the director calls me and lies about parents thanking them for throwing me out. Umpire’s calls were garbage at best. The director then proceeded to assume he knew everything about me and tried to lecture me while telling lies (and he knows it). I’ve never encountered such a childish, immature, two-faced, group operating under the facade of professionalism. The so-called umpires apparently have a “zero tolerance” policy for questioning calls, especially when they know they’re wrong. It’s almost laughable to think these people are actual adults when they conduct themselves in a manner less mature than a four-year-old. They can’t keep employees and their organization is failing at multiple levels. Apparently, people have a natural sense to leap from a sinking ship.

Worthless organization!!! The families that attend are
TRASH, Filthy and very Rude! They shouldn't be allowed to have any venues out side of there little dream!

It’s a very nice facility. It’s a great place to watch Fossil Ridge win softball games. The Sabercats are so much better than Broomfield!
