Great, well-brewed, unpretentious beer. Fantastic soup. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Cool spot in an old historic converted gas station. Terrific prices. Mountain views on the patio. What's not to like? A very worthy stop if you're headed through Leadville!

Mozzarella sticks were fire, cheese was stringy and stretchy. 10/10…. Haven’t decided on the beer yet. I need to be asked “How was the beer?”

Straight up, made a stop here because it is touted as America's highest elevation brewery. The bartender was top-notch and kept us entertained. Outside of that, it was a ho hum experience. Seems like they could do so much with the theme they have in beer selections, names and promotions. Checked it off the list.

The beer is excellent. The bartenders are very friendly, and they have typical bar fare. Highly recommend sitting outside with a cold one and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The place was closed on Monday despite both online and on the door posted hours claiming it should be open. I hiked Mt Elbert today and was planning to celebrate here after double checking hours.

I understand that Monday is a slow day, but at least post the correct hours! I could have stopped by yesterday, I know the place was open then. Now I will leave Leadville without visiting the country's highest brewery.😢

Went here since it was the only brewery near Leadville but was skeptical due to the lowish review. This place turned out to be amazing! The beer was great, the atmosphere was fun and we met a lot interesting people! The owner was fun to talk to and also makes a killer pozole! Will plan to stop here every time I am in the area now!

Soup lived up to the spiciness warnings on reviews (the chef must really like spice), pretty comedic that they're served in metal mixing bowls. We felt like dogs lmao. The bartender always seems suspicious of me when I order (I am of age and present ID). Not terrible for the only brewery in town.

Summited Mount Elbert today, and was looking forward to some celebratory beers. Had some great pizza at High Mountain Pies, which was amazing and the complete opposite of this customer experience, btw. We stopped at 6:30pm, stopped here for a quick beer or 4. Sign was flashing "OPEN", sign on the door said open until 9pm. We opened the door, and were quickly told to leave because they were closing. What a joke! If you are going to close early, at least turn your sign off, and possibly lock the door. Or how about accommodate the customers that come in until you have none? Why be in business if you don't want customers? Can't see this place lasting with this kind of attitude.
