This is not the right choice of software for massage therapists. SOAP notes and forms do not auto-save. User timeout will log you out before your appointment wraps up -- goodbye, chart in progress. It is impossible to review a client's intake form while simultaneously editing their chart. Try to steer away -- goodbye chart! The 2-step verification is excessively frequent and highly obstructive. Plus, payment system is clunky and slow. I cannot access all features from my phone, but am required to use my phone to process payments. Menu navigation is old school, cumbersome, and feels icky. Oh, and I can hardly edit what my receipts look like. I want my license # to be very prominent but have to add it as a footer. I do not like anything about Vagaro.

I love everything about Vagaro, their booking & payment processing system is amazing! In the past few years they have updated Vagaro to include online processing booking/pmts, reviews, store files, photos, run promotions email, text and most recently their texting option, to be able to text your clients for various things. There's so much more that I can't even remember all to be honest. Their customer support is available and is always helpful with resolving or answering anything you might have. Did I mention they have a lot of videos and how to option too? Definitely 5 Star Review 🙂

Vagaro: overpromised and way under delivery. Their support team is not knowledgeable at all. The sales team was great because they swore on this system and promised so much great things so I decided to switch. Then I’ve been suffering past months, problems one after another. The system is not well built for salons with so many service providers. Every time I call them about anything, no one knows anything haha! For example, I was asking what reports I run or where can I view the total sales of each service provider without deducting discounts from their total. The report sales show the amount after discounts, I called support and he told me at this moment they don’t have such a report or any way to view it. As I continued exploring and navigating here and there, I found a way to see that and I ended up teaching the support team how to view it. Hilarious! On top of that, when you call for support, they will put you on hold for hours.

On top of everything, on 03/01/25 their system went down in the morning and throughout the day which impacted my business BADLY, couldn't log in, and couldn't view any appointments. Called in and was told they did not know when it would be back up. Ended up clients kept coming in and we did not know which service providers had appointments. In the end, customers got so mad at us for waiting hours because of the unorganized schedule. One of my receptionists quit on the spot because she couldn’t take all this stress. I was close to actually close my business for the day because I did not know what else to do. Now is 03/02 and Vagaro posted nothing relating to today’s system down. I’m currently just speechless!

my onboarding was not great. I felt rushed and he was the second person from this company that told me ‘you’re lucky I am patient 🤣🤣🤣😌. does that mean…..what? I am trying to learn and sometimes when engineers are use to something like this software and the consumer isn’t used to it and trying to learn the last thing they wanna hear is that the engineer is patient. You should be your job is to train the user!

Vagaro is a great interface for service providers! The program is very intuitive, easy to get a hang of, and includes so many features that other programs charge extra for. Like any platform or tech there is the occasionnal glitch, but for the most-part it is seamless and incredibly easy to use.
