When a screenwriter friend told me about Voyage Media, I didn't have any doubt whatsoever that this is my next step in my screenwriting journey. After discussing it with my wife, we agreed that Voyage Media was the way to go. After getting all set up and deciding which screenplay we were going to put through the process, I was assigned a producer to work on the script with me. My relationship with this producer was exceptional and the one thing that I really liked about him, was that he did not insist that I do things his way, but he gave me advice, insight and suggestions that really made me think and dig deep into my bag of creativity and just write my story. A few months later we had a finish product: my screenplay, titled "Little Jake". What I learned and accomplished with Voyage Media is priceless. Here, I thought, after writing nearly twenty full length screenplays, that I knew it all. It turns out, I didn't. But I am proud to say that I am a much better screenwriter now than I was before I began my journey with Voyage Media. I highly recommend Voyage Media to any screenwriter who wants to achieve excellence and raise their screenwriting to a whole new level.

Voyage Media opened doors for me. Years ago, as an aspiring screenwriter, I experienced the frustrating brick wall plenty of times just trying to get the attention of an agent. Now, as the author of a novel, I knew that trying to get my story on the “big screen” was going to be a long shot. But the beauty of Voyage Media is that they understand that not all good writers are represented by agents. There is so much wonderful content out there that never finds its way through the doors of Hollywood studios, so Voyage Media’s business model knocked down that wall. For me, it has changed everything. Because of Voyage Media, my book has now completed the development phase to adapt it into a ten-episode limited series for one of the streaming networks. My voice has continued to be valued as I worked closely with a producer, a screenwriter, and an entire team of people at Voyage who are as excited to see my project succeed as I am.

I have children's books and novels published, and though the world of writing and producing movies and TV series has always fascinated me, it seemed completely unobtainable from where I live and create. Working with Voyage has opened that door and skillfully guided me through. Both of my novels - Convergent, a thought-provoking thriller, and Chandler's List, a romantic comedy - came with me to Voyage already published with marketable premises, compelling stories and developed characters. Insights and suggestions gained by working directly with producer Joshua Malkin has further developed and molded both of these stories to: enhance the story beats for better movie structure, give more depth and complexity to the characters, take out details and scenes that bogged down the story, add new scenes that better portrayed the goals of the characters, and gave them more complete and satisfying story resolutions. The writing was all mine, employing Joshua skilled advice. Chandler's List is now a Voyage Original, and is in the development stage. The world needs more and better comedies, and Voyage and Joshua are now using all their resources to make Chandler's List available to the industry, and the world. I could not have done this without their skill and resources.

Currently, I have two film projects with Voyage Media. One Magic Hour, is a Voyage Original and is being shopped in the marketplace. My other project, The Regret, is working on its second draft. My experience with Voyage Media has been exactly what I expected and what was promised. My projects have been completed and polished. Now, they will have the opportunity to flourish.
I have been in the film industry for many years. I have made and distributed two feature films. If you believe that getting your project made is the hard part in the process you are mistaken. Once it is complete, where will it go? Do you have contacts in the industry that you can show your project to? Do you have the money to distribute your finished product in the marketplace so it has the chance to reach the customer? If you do, then go for it. I have both and I can tell you that is not enough. Voyage Media can help you reach the masses by getting it in front of the people who can make that happen. Does it cost money? Absolutely, but the price you pay with Voyage Media is no where near what it will cost you to do it on your own. Even then, you cannot guarantee anyone will see it. Voyage Media gives your project, your baby, a chance to develop into your dream.
Be aware that there are no guarantees that your project will be picked up. However, in the end, your project will be complete and fine tuned. You will have established many more contacts than you had before you started. Nat Mundel is an intelligent and innovative entrepreneur. His business model is unique, especially for the film industry. I believe in my projects. I believe Voyage Media is the best chance I will have to make them come alive to the public. They can be your best chance as well. Take the leap of faith.

I don't want to think yet......I know my story reads as a "Lifetime" movie. I sent in the basic outline of my story that I had written in "Transformative Spiritual Experiences". I do have about 30% of a book about this experience written. I am an excellent writer.......not me blowing smoke up my own a__, but truly I have had people be amazed at what I have written. I even had a mic-drop moment among my 70+ co-workers as we were at a pre-school starting meeting in August (I am a teacher). Literally the room was silent for about 5 seconds after a co-worker insisted on reading it for me. The thunderous applause was almost too much to bear in knowing I had written something spectacular and was being recognized as such among my fellow co-workers and principal.......I hope the submission I gave Nat and his response is not "blowing smoke up my a__",......I do not need that. I have a product to sell and it is good........more than good. It could be a great Lifetime movie. I'll keep you all informed as to whether or not this is the real deal or not.
