We recently stayed at WorldMark Granby twice on our ski trip—once at the start and again at the end of our vacation. While it was more than an hour’s drive from the slopes at Breckenridge and Vail, it was the most affordable WorldMark option in the area. Winter Park and Granby were much closer, so if you’re skiing there, the property’s location is far more convenient.

Overall, the facilities and rooms were quite nice and spacious. There were activities like ping pong and other games, and the fitness center was pretty decent with dumbbells up to 50 lbs and a nice dual-cable machine as the highlights. During our first night’s stay, my wife noticed a strong cleaning-chemical smell, which was off-putting upon arrival. She opened the door to the outside in the freezing cold to air it out. On our second stay, we were assigned a room on the third floor with an open-air walkway. The only downside to this setup is that when guests walk by—especially in ski boots—it sounds like a herd of Clydesdales in the bedroom, even with the windows and blinds are closed.

The room itself was clean and roomy, with a handy in-room washer/dryer. However, the stackable washer made surprisingly obnoxious noises during its operation, so don’t be alarmed if it starts clunking mid-cycle. One small disappointment was the coffee setup: there’s only a single packet of Folgers provided for one pot, and that’s all. If you’re a coffee lover, you may want to bring your own supply. Despite these minor issues, WorldMark Granby remains a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable home base with spacious accommodations—just keep in mind that it involves some extra drive time if your primary destination is Breckenridge or Vail.

The resort itself is nice. The suite/rooms were clean upon our arrival and the scenery is breathtaking. There's no denying it especially this time of year. We were even there for a full snow day. Plenty of ski and sliding activities. Just be mindful of HAPE due to the high elevation being over 9000. Definitely loved the fireplace.

Great, cozy place for my family! We skiied at Winter Park for 3 days and this place was perfect. We sat in the hot tub every night and practically had it to ourselves. I would definitely return!

Based upon the pictures posted on the resort website, we thought we would have a more spacious unit equipped with a hot tub. Wrong. We learned that only a few of the units like the presidential units were so equipped as depicted in the photographs. The only hot tub available to us was located some distance away from our unit next to the closed pool resulting in our decision not to use it due to the coolness of the nights and not wanting to walk back to our unit in wet attire. While we were there, we did not see anyone using the hot tub or the fire pit and really wonder what the amenities fee is for other than for pure profit for the resort. On top of that, be prepared to pay for internet service in addition to the amenities fee.||When we made our reservations, we asked for a third floor unit because the view from the balconies is wonderful. When we checked in, we were told the third floor units were reserved for owners. Due to the obvious number of empty units on the third floor, it makes one wonder if they really appreciate non-owners since they could have easily accommodated our request. ||The unit was well stocked and the accommodations sufficient for our needs. While I appreciate the fact that each unit has a gas grill on the balcony, the only supermarket in town (City Market) is woefully understaffed due to the high cost of living and the meat department lacking any meat worthy of cooking on the grills. Most of the shelves in the store were empty with pallets of stock in the aisles waiting to be unloaded. Very sad.||Granby is a quaint little town located near the Grand Lake side of the RMNP but be prepared for little to no offerings as far as dining, shopping, or recreational activities. We were there to take full advantage of all the RMNP offered so the location served its purpose. Not sure if we would return the next time we are in the Rockies.

We had a great time at the WorldMark location in Granby CO. The place was immaculate. The staff was very friendly. The pool was closed for the season but the hot tub was great - overlooking the foothills and CO sunsets - made for a great wrap up to hiking. The RMNP entrance is a short 30 min drive away in Grand Lake. So many great fly fishing spots nearby. The gym included a couple cardio options and cable machine. No free weights. Amazing video game area for gamers. We will definitely be back with the whole family.

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff & check-in was a breeze. Our 2 bedroom accommodations were perfect for the four of us. The rooms were immaculate, fashionable & comfortable. The kitchen & bathrooms were well supplied & with televisions in both bedrooms & living room. There was a small patio with large gas grill that we used daily. The receptionists Joni, Penny, Sally & Sherry were so helpful, any time we needed extra towels, blankets & paper supplies not ti mention always greeted us or stopped to talk to us. Our washer broke & we called the front desk, it was replaced immediately. The outside grounds we’re immaculate with a pool & hot tub, which we didn’t use. There’s also a room with various pool tables, ping-pong etc, great for children. The resort is next to Grand Elk Golf Club, which our husbands enjoyed. The club house is very convenient & has delicious lunches & dinners. The surrounding area is beautiful, there’s a small shopping center with a market, gas & McDonald's unless you go into the small town. We had an amazing stay thanks to WorldMark Granby.

Let the buyer beware. Overall the property was good; what wasn’t was the pictures on the Armed Forces Vacation Club. The bedrooms on the site look large and majestic; however we arrived only to find the second bedroom had two twin beds. We asked the staff to give us another room but refused. One desk person was semi rude trying to explain away that the pictures were ‘ generic ‘. But, one desk worker was extremely friendly and helpful. Her name was Sally and we appreciate all she did in trying to help resolve our problem. Other employees could learn some courtesy from her. The facility was clean and nice, just not what was advertised on the site.

We stayed at a 2 BR suite at this WorldMark Resort and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly with each of our interactions. The property was well maintained and very clean. Only negative was the lack of equipment in the Exercise Room. Three aerobic machines and a cable machine, and they could use a set of dumbbells.
