We worked with Zach Green and his company for our 2016 Global Village Promotional Video. We were very
impressed not only with working with Zach and the quality of the film, but Zach’s ability to convey the energy
and impact of this unique experience and generate some measurable ROI in terms of future trip engagement
and participation.
Zach was able to do a wide variety of things including filming, doing the actual work on the job site (our
Global Village Trip is a 9-day volunteer trip where volunteers build homes in Nicaragua so the work is pretty
physical and intense), as well as taking beautiful photographs for our social media, creating captains, and
“putting together stories. He was a true one stop shop.
Though we were nervous at first about the logistics of sending a videographer abroad, Zach is an experienced
traveler - he and his team clearly loves to travel and you can tell they get a lot of joy from it. They use lightweight
gear and have one person who carries all his own gear, captures the work cinematically, conducts all
the interviews (in Spanish or English), and edits the story.
All in all, Zach was a breeze to work with and required very minimal guidance in putting together exactly
what we were looking for. Since creating this promotional video documenting our 2016 Global Village trip
we have seen a dramatic increase in awareness of our Global Village, as well as registrations to participate.
On a personal note, Zach is a bundle of energy with an enthusiasm and passion for his work which is
infectious and shines through in every piece of his work. I would 100% recommend him to any individual or
organization who is looking to create an energetic, impactful video.
