Buyer beware, do not go with this service. You will not have any service at all.
We have a clear line of sight to the service tower in Cortez, and no service.
We will be looking for another provider that can actually give service for what we are paying for.

I'm so disappointed with this company. I was one of their first customers (within a year of their launch if I remember correctly) and the service was amazing. My first speedtest had a ping of 8! That's crazy for this area. The download speeds were even faster than advertised. And they were super good to work with. I referred multiple people to them and thought it was great that a company was doing this in SW CO. Unfortunately I've seen a 180 with them. The actual service is terrible (my last speedtest was 276 and my download speed is quite a bit lower than I pay for) and the customer service has really dropped. There's no desire to troubleshoot problems or try to retain customers. At one site we were told to cut down a tree or they couldn't do anything so I had to come up with the solution of moving their antenna, and at another site when we called about it being slow and causing issues we were told "every time you guys have an issue with the internet you call us". Yeah. You're the ISP. Who else would we call? Was planning to stick with them but now I'm on the wait list with their competitor. 🙁

My WiFi NEVER works, it works less often than it doesn’t work. Every time I have to call I just get asked if I’ve tried to unplug and plug it in. It’s been 2 days of ZERO service and now I can’t get an answer or a call back from them. I’d not recommend this service at all.

I had initially been slightly disappointed with the service due to occasional cut outs and loss of signal, and sometimes sorta lengthy response times.., but given the technology and the region, it's understandable to have occasional loss or lessened service; especially during inclement weather.
The customer service and tech representatives are phenomenal, kind, patient, helpful and provide great customer service.. given that and the technicalities of the technology, I give them a good rating.

I have changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars because after leaving my initial review, they reached out and were finally able to come out and inspect everything and get everything working properly now. It's been a few weeks since and we no longer have connection troubles. Thank you.
Previous review: I live on the outskirts of Cortez and have had this provider for nearly 2 years because it's cheap and it's always been hell! Always buffering, ESPECIALLY after 4pm, kicking us out of our programs, taking too long to load apps, etc. The weather is NEVER the issue. Clear skies, but internet still won't work. Whenever we call to try to get help for it they act as if we are lying. Yes, they have swapped the wifi router for us and tried tinkering with the box, granted. But doesn't help anything. Now Ive got a video showing it buffer 5 times in a minute and possibly getting a new internet provider

Eric and Erica did a fabulous job getting me hooked up to internet at 4 times the speed, and a lower cost than what I was using. What a wonderful difference decent speed makes!
I encourage everyone to support this new but excellent company; they are providing a great service to Cortez, Dolores, and the surrounding rural areas. And now Dove Creek! Wow.

My wife and I live about 10 miles from Cortez. We have the mid-level Internet plan from Zumacom. We are very pleased with the service, and the company's customer support.

We are able to able to do video conferences with co-workers. We are able to stream videos from YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, all without buffering. As a software developer I'm able to do everything I need to over our Zumacom Internet service.

I read all the bad reviews, but I'm running out of internet options. So I called for a check on service. The lady that answered the phone made it seem like it was a lot to ask if they offered service at an address. She told me they don't and abruptly hung up on me while I was trying to thank her for checking for me.
